May be we’ll see undead version of Lui Kang just like in MK: Armageddon or Noob Saibot may return as he was already resurrected by the evil sorcerer.

Spawn is basically given the right by Warner Bros. to the NetheRealm studios that they can use the actual character in the game but this depends on the developers, if they intend to bring Spawn in the game. They now have the access to the character but only time will tell if spawn actually debuts in Mortal Kombat X. Recent online rumors, also shows some sort of evidence of Jax coming back to the game, he might have been resurrected.
