Marvel VS Capcom 4 – What Do We Really Want to See?

As a gamer and a comic freak, I’ve always been a fan of fighting games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken etc. It all first started when I played Street Fighter II on Sega Genesis which is still one of my favorite fighting games. However as the time passes by, we get to play new edition of games like crossovers. X-Men VS Capcom was one of the first crossovers game I played on the Sega and then on PlayStation One. The game was truly an epic game, it gave many ideas to other developers to create crossovers games like we see today such as Snk Vs Capcom, Tatsunoko vs Capcon, DC vs MK, Street Fighter X Tekken etc. Despite of what we seen on Marvel vs Capcom 3 but still the gameplay was kind of fun. However the new Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 has brought lot of improvement as compare to its prior version. Better Netcode and new playable characters from both Marvel and Capcom sides, Although 2 characters were released as a DLC.

Despite of what we saw, we’re still hoping that the developer will do something better for the gamer Like releasing it for PC which was never mentioned. There are several things that the developers should focus on such as:

More Characters

Although the last game already had enough but still there were plans to release more from both side until the tsunami hit and change the mind of the developers to hold the DLC which was never released. On MVC 4, we would wish to see new playable characters like Carnage (Spider-Man) Dare Devil (from the Dare Devil), Guile (Street Fighter) Ken (Street Fighter) and other cool fighters.

Use Better Graphic Engine

Graphic is the main thing we notice when playing a game and when they already have Unreal Engine then why using same old cartoonish ones.  Last version was made under MT Framework engine which was sort of same as STFIV. But with Unreal Engine, we could add a real touch to the graphic effect because it gives developers open options to add new realistic effects.

Give it a Rest – Make DC VS MARVELS

I think it’s the right time to make this happen because both fighters have never got to meet face to face apart from the comics. There should be a game of DC vs Marvels, give Street Fighter some rest. I would really like to see Solomon Grundy taking out Hulk or Deadpool shooting bullets at Dead Stroke. Well DC is currently under Netherealm ownership so it would be great to see both companies make this crossover.

Release it for PC and Hand handled Devices

The only fighting game that Capcom released on PC was Street Fighter IV but they never thought about porting MVC 3 for PC. There are lots of markets for fighting games on PC and believe me, piracy is not an issue here. They should consider developing one for PC as now every fighting game is releasing on PC. Android and iOS should also get a version, may be a card fighting.

Hope that the developers will look onto this issue and try to consider it when they will launch the next game.

Mortal Kombat X Releasing Today with New Characters

NetherRealm Studios is about to release new fighting video game Mortal Kombat X, this one is 10th in Mortal Kombat series and it going to be released today on April, 14th, 2015.

 Is a student of Shirai Ryuleader Hanzo Hasashi and son to Kenshi. He made his first appearance in the comic series and will also mark his game debut in Mortal Kombat X.

Liu Kang

Liu Kang is a famous returning character in the Mortal kombat fighting series. He is one of the original characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game. He serves as the main protagonist of the first four games, the live-action films and the original comic book series. He will also appear in Mortal Kombat X.

Shinnok

Shinnok is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He made his debut in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero as a boss, and first became playable in Mortal Kombat 4, in which he also served as the boss and main antagonist.

Kotal Kahn

Kotal Kahn is a new fighter that will be introduced in Mortal Kombat X.

Scorpion

The oldest ninja that debuted in the first Mortal Kombat game will again make is return to start off a new story line with his oldest rival, Sub-Zero
